Elsie Rawls is a character in World War 3: Sinister Operations.  In the novel, she's the 12-year old sister of Sabrina Rawls and becomes involved in one of the catalysts of World War 3, the May 6, 2021 Terrorist Attacks.

Early lifeEdit

According to records, Elsie was born on September 11, 2009, nine years after 9\11, in Auvergne, France and adopted by American missionaries (similar to Kourtney Sanderson and Solomon in Battlefield 3).  During her childhood, she suffered from amnesia and struggled to remember her own name, during which her adoptive parents named her "Elsie Rawls".  The youngest of two kids, she was described as a "bright child" with a "brilliant imagination" by her proud parents, who were missionaries.

World War 3: Sinister OperationsEdit

She was on Air France Flight 93, which was hijacked during the May 6, 2021 Terrorist Attacks while en-route to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  During the incident, she's dragged to the cockpit and handcuffed to the yoke.  When Al-Zarqi leaves to "empty his precious bladder", he is killed by her older sister, who then teams up with Alexi Bulganov, Lev Raskov, Mason Davidson and Harper Michaels to rescue her.

Upon seeing them enter the cockpit, Elsie mistakes them for the hijackers themselves and turns off autopilot.  She then violently yanks the control stick hard right, redirecting the plane toward Diamond Plaza.  Thanks to Harper Michaels, however, she managed to avoid a fatal crash that would've killed everyone on board.

She's seen again during the hijacking of a Transaero Airlines 747 in the climax.  She's imprisoned in the lavatory.  However, when Mason Davidson, Lev Raskov, Olivia Coons, and Doug Harris lead a passenger revolt, she's rescued and later attempts to help crash the plane into the Kabba in Mecca (though she regrets it).  Her last words are recorded on the cockpit voice recorder moments before the plane crashes.

  • She's the first adolescent in the novel.
  • She is also the second adopted character in the novel.
