The Mercenaries are a faction that appear in World War 3: Sinister Operations.  They are of international origin, most notably Cuba, Britain, the United States, China, Canada and Russia, but they possibly have other countries as members.

BackgroundEdit

After Raul Menendez, the original founder of Cordis Die, died while stepping through the time bridge, Madison Young got ahold of his will, which stated that anyone willing to become the new leader of Cordis Die had full access to everything he owned, including body armor, drones, his enormous military arsenal acquired in his home world.  Madison eagerly accepted his offer and in an instant, Madison had become the new commander of Menendez's private army of highly-trained soldiers that he planned to use to fight against the militaries of the Western world.  With a little help from Olivia Coons, her best friend, Madi was able to recruit untold multitudes of mercenaries from other countries.

EquipmentEdit

Due to the wealth Raul Menendez made in his home world during the course of Black Ops II, Madison's Mercenaries enjoyed the most state-of-the-art weaponry, equipment, body armor, and drones they'd seen in years.  Vehicle wise, they use Technicals painted in digital camouflage, MH-60 Blackhawk choppers, and heavily armored MRAPs.  In terms of appearance, the Mercenaries look like a well trained, well equipped, and well paid army with various camouflage fatigues, Kevlar vests, balaclavas, sunglasses, and radio pieces, as well as military grade ballistic helmets.  Sometimes, however, they wear an advanced optical camouflage fatigue, which includes a black balaclava with an advanced heads-up display (HUD) and a hood over their heads.

In addition, all their weapons feature an urban camouflage, with red (sometimes orange), black, and white patterns.
