The Russian Airbone Troops is a branch of the Russian Army and a faction in the World War 3 series.  They were formed during the 1930s prior to World War II and they are the main aerial forces in the novel.

In World War 3: Sinister Operations, pilot Valeriya Azarova is shot down over Europe during Operation Grendel and later found by Vulture Force.  Their jets are seen dogfighting against Iron Hand fighters.  They are also seen dropping troops across war-torn areas across America.
