Vladimir Rozhdestvenski is a former GRU agent and a current Black Syndicate operative in World War 3: Sinister Operations.  In the novel, he plots against Avril Lavigne and her organization, the Black Iron Fists, in order to stop Operation Thunderbird.  Later, he helps fight against the Iron Hand in Operation Grendel.

Early life and GRU careerEdit

Born in 1988, Vladimir Rozhdestvenski had a troubled childhood; he suffered from being picked on in school (much like Kaylyn Bigley, only he didn't seek vengeance on his tormentors).  Later, however, he went on to become the best GRU agent there was in the GRU.

World War 3: Sinister OperationsEdit

In World War 3: Sinister Operations, it is revealed that Vladimir is a Black Syndicate operative married to an Israeli named Eden and has kids.  His wife is also expected to have another child.  During his time as a Black Syndicate operative, his wife Eden is kidnapped by Avril Lavigne and the Black Iron Fists while vacationing in Rome, Italy, along with her friend (and Alcatraz's wife), Dyan Blackburn.  When Vladimir finds out, he suddenly obtains an obsession to kill Avril Lavigne and exterminate the Black Iron Fists.  However, Price tells him that they will do it as a team.  Vladimir teams up with Alcatraz to rescue their wives, but eventually run into complications such as the mission to stop Operation Thunderbird.

Eventually, though, he suceeds in both rescuing his wife and stopping Operation Thunderbird.  In Act III, he helps stop Operation Grendel, Ben Hoving's plot to turn America into a dictatorship.

  • He is the first Russian with a long last name.
  • He is also the second ex-GRU agent in the novel (Lev Raskov is first).
  • His signature weapon is the AKS-74u.
  • He, like Captain Price, suffers from tourettes syndrome.
